Hearts and Arrows: A Valentines Party!

Oh where to start!!! I had SOOOOO much fun on this photo shoot! And I met some Fabulous new Vendors!!! Gina from Bend Cookie Company, Rebecca from Rebecca & Co. Events and myself teamed up to make this party fabulous!!!! It is great when creative minds get together and make things happen!! We are always looking for more creativeness to add to our team, so if your company has something you would like show cased just get a hold of me as there are MANY opportunities for us to be creative!!! I have to say that Bend Cookie Company was Fabulous to work with as we basically just told her what we are doing, told her to run wild with her imagination and this is what she came up with, her cookies were even “BLINGY” which is EXACTLY what we are looking for in a vendor! We LOVE other women (or men) that have a passion for what they do…..OBVIOUSLY by looking at the cookies you can tell she LOVES making cookies!!!! Rebecca Did not disappoint either, that woman can put together a party like no body else…..I have to say when I first talked this over with her….she said “hm, I don’t have very much valentines day stuff” HAHAHAAA her idea of “very much” and my idea of “very much” are two different things…..all we had to do was lay down a pretty pink table cloth and there was the inspiration then all this “Rebecca Fabulousness” came out of her brain!!!I hope you enjoy the pictures and they give you some inspiration and If you need Cookies, call Gina, If you need a Party Planned or anything to do with a Party Call Rebecca, and if you need Pictures Call ME 541-350-6544 Can not wait to show you pictures from the next party we are planning!!! I just LOVE it when Natalie and Chloe come to see me….I especially LOVE miss Natalie becuase she is totally into my “dress up clothes” ESPECIALLY my big Hot pink Skirt that she REALLY wants…..It was great to see you guys for pics, glad we were able to get together!!!!!!! Enjoy!

Ok, I LOVE these kids!!! I’m so excited that they came to see me in their cute little Christmas Clothes!!!! And it worked out that right after the shoot they got to walk right out my studio door to the Startlight Christmas Parade, I’m sure they had fun!!!!! Thanks you guys for coming to see me! One of my friends from high school, Julie called me frantically when she realized that she only had one day off with her hubby between now and January 15th……that day was Sunday……so we did a quick little family photo session. Poor Hubby had to awake from his sleep after a long night of work, just for pics (THANKS HUSBAND) I was SOOO excited to see little Jenna becuase last time I seen her, she was a little shy of the camera! I can GLADLY say that she now is in her model phase where she enjoys having her picture taken….Jenna is the one in front of the tree, LOVE THAT PICTURE!!! Enjoy! I met when some of my Favorite customers down at the park the other day and we lucked out becuase the sun was shining and it wasn’t FREEZING like it could have been!!! Thank goodness!!! Whitney and Nate (MOM AND DAD) decided that they just wanted to get the kids pics taken instead of family pics. In case you didn’t know if you want to have park pics taken and you don’t want the whole family, you can still sign up for the “Family mini session” it’s fine to do JUST THE KIDS!These pics are going to make some excellent Christmas presents for grandma and grandpa!!!!

2011 Spook-Tacular Portrait Party

We had SOOO much fun at our First Annual Spook-tacular Portrait Party! I was surprised that our Turn Out was so great since I had heard about so many things happening in town (and out of town). I was SUPER happy to see many of my repeat customers from Bend drive all the way out to see us!!!! YAY!! I quickly put together some of my Favorite pictures from yesterday,(sorry I can’t BLOG everyone that showed up) Hope you Enjoy! The Kids were all so cute, and so fun! I forgot how P.O’d little bitty ones get when you try to put these costumes on them and they’re so tight around their heads, and itchy and scratchy, I truly think that they think we are trying to torture them! Tomorrow is the big day, where are you going trick or treating at? We will be headed to the Fall Family Festival at Highland Baptist Church and then we will be heading over to Evergreen Academy’s Haunted House! Both Events are Free and Kid Friendly. You can even get dinner at the church for $1, YES you read right, ONE DOLLAR!!!! CRAZY!!! If we are feeling adventurist we MIGHT try and head to either the Downtown trick or treating or the Redmond Fire Station which is suppose to be open from4-9, but we never want to wait…the line usually extends around the block….NO THANKS! So um, if you see me with my camera, and Elvira and a Skeleton walking around any of those places….make sure to say Hello and introduce yourself…I’m the one in the Sherlock Holmes Outfit Dancing to Beyonce’ below…..yeah go ahead and laugh, it’s ok! Hopefully you don’t miss this party next year!!!!!!!

Do you ever get Super Excited about Halloween? I’m so excited to be holding my first annual “Spook-tacular” portrait party! Rebecca & Co. Events will be providing the decor, the goodies, the goodie bags, the yummy cookies and cider and a whole slew of other things she has up her sleeve!!! I’m SO SO SO Excited to be working with her, she has a way to pull things together and you will not believe the custom 2011 Halloween set we have come up with, it’s awesome!

First a Little Shout of for Rebecca. Go check out her Website www.RebeccaBostain.com, if you are planning any sort of event you want (NEED) her help!!! She does it all, Weddings, Birthday Parties, Corporate Parties, Holiday Parties, Girls Night Out Parties…If you want to throw a party and would like to be able to enjoy it, seriously she is who you need! I have worked with her on Several Weddings, customer appreciation Parties and Birthday parties and I ensure you, she does not disappoint!!!

Second. This is a Charity Fundraiser. The Charity we have chosen is Called “Full Circle Outreach” Go check out their website , have you heard of them before? Do you know what they do? We would LOVE it if you would bring any of the items on their Immediate Needs list Bring them with you and we will donate them straight to the organization, they also have a food bank and personal care items that they need check this list, then check your cupboards, your linen closets, your clothes closets, and your checkbooks. And come and help support this AWESOME organization that can really use our help before the Holidays hit!!!

Third- the details!!!!

Who: Your Kiddo, Your Neighbors Kiddo’s, your nieces, and nephews, and grandchildren ect.

What:Cost is $22 and includes 1 5×7 professional print that will be sent by mail after the event (to maintain quality I would like to have my professional lab print the pics, and that takes time) there are some other options if you wish to sign up online (additional prints, and picture on CD) By getting your child’s picture taken on our custom set you will be entered into the “cutest costume contest” we may also make a scariest contest as well…Prizes include a portrait session and Print Package from Me and many many other prizes you do not want to miss!!! The First 25 kids (parents) to sign up for a session online will receive a spook-tacular goodie bag from Rebecca & Co. Events your kiddos will want this bag…dont waste time!!! We will have Yummy things to eat and Drink , you might not even want to leave

When: Saturday October 29th from 10am-4pm

Why? DUH

Where:For those of you that don’t know, my studio is located downtown Redmond in the same parking lot as Sears (the old Erickson’s building) the actual address is 209 SW 5th st Redmond Or 97756.

But Jen? You are asking. What if I have more than one kid? You have Options, You only get ONE printed 5×7 per session fee, so we can stick them all in the same photo for your printed picture, OR you can sign up for different sessions for each child if you would like a separate photo of each child…it’s up to you!!!

I’m so excited to meet many of you, to see many of my returning customers, and to be able to help out a great LOCAL charity, where I know that the Money and items are actually used here in our town. Oh man, I’m gonna do it…..I’m gonna admit it…..In the retail world it started over a month ago…..in the photography world I started thinking about it on December 26th 2010, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA So the first thing I’m going to announce to get you in the “Holiday” Spirit (close your eyes and imagine it, dang it) is my AWESOME custom designed Christmas Cards!!! If you have not seen samples of these cards feel free to meet me at the studio and check them out, you will really WOW your friends with them. They look great, feel great, and I suppose you could make them smell great too!! These Cards are perfect if you have already done pictures with me, and just want to get your Christmas/Holiday Cards DONE! You just tell me the Picture you want to use, and what words you want on the card, I’ll design it, send you a proof and then order it and in a couple days you are good to go, for a small fee you can get your return address printed on the envelopes even!!! Wham Bham Thank you Jen!!!!! If you Would like to Order some Cards, Shoot me over an Email and I’ll get RIGHT ON IT!!! Cut off to order Custom Cards is December 1, DONT WAIT!!!!

The First Set of Cards are my Flat 5×7 2 sided Christmas Cards- all of my cards are branded with my logo, usually small and eloquent on the back.These Cards have several options of paper type including ;Premium Cotton, Premium Bamboo, 100% Recycled, Smooth, Linen, or Pearl press papers. You can see samples at my studio, but personally I love love love the Pearl, Cotton, and Linen. The Cost for these Fabulous cards are $60.00 for each set of 25.

NEXT on the Christmas Card list are my SUPER DUPER LUXE CARD DESIGNS! MMMMM I LOVE THESE CARDS!!! There are so many Fabulous Options and “gift-y” things you could do with them! They have the same paper options as the above cards but they are die cut ornamental cards, that come with Die Cut designs to give your cards that much more WOW factor!!! On the Round cards there is an option to have a hole punched in the top so you could tie a ribbon and they actually make GREAT ornaments or package hang tags!!! These Cards are $75 for each set of 25 cards including envelopes!!! Examples at studio if you would like to look!!!
