Well, I hired you, Don’t I own the pictures?

Um….NO….Not usually anyways….I know you probably don’t truly consider me an artist, but I am….I’m creating that picture for you or for your family or your business….I Own the picture unless you purchase the copyright from me…Even if you purchase the High Resolution file from me on a CD that does not mean that you own the picture and can do with it whatever you want….it kills me when I see people take my pictures and edit them in picnik or online photo editing and give them funky colors or “photoshop” them all  crazy….when you purchase a picture on a CD to reprint, that is exactly what you have purchased is the REPRINT rights, you can reprint that picture that way!! Also, just becuase you hire me does not give you the right to “make a copy of the cd” and give it to everyone in the photo, or whatever….if you ever have questions on this PLEASE ask, I’m nice…..I promise!
